Paper Formatting and Submission Guidelines

1. General Formatting Rules

All papers submitted to the 4th International Congress on Management of Organizations must be prepared according to the formatting rules specified below. Papers that do not comply with these guidelines may be returned to the authors for revision.

The full paper should be between 15–20 pages, including references, tables, and figures.

2. Page Layout and Font

  • Font: Times New Roman
  • Main text font size: 10 pt
  • Line spacing: Single
  • Paragraph spacing: 6 pt after paragraph
  • Margins: 2.5 cm on all sides
  • Alignment: Justified

Main headings should be 12 pt, bold, and subheadings should also be 12 pt, bold.

3. Title and Author Information

The title of the paper must be written in 16 pt, bold, Times New Roman, centered on the page.

Below the title, the following information must be provided:

  • Author Name and Surname
  • Institution Name
  • Email Address

These should be written in 12 pt, bold.

4. Abstract and Keywords

Each paper must include an abstract and keywords.

  • The abstract should be 300–350 words.
  • The abstract must clearly state the purpose, scope, methodology, and main findings of the study.
  • 4–5 keywords must be provided below the abstract.
  • Authors should indicate the category number and category topic at the end of the abstract.

Language Requirements:

  • Papers written in Turkish must include both Turkish and English abstracts.
  • Papers written in English:
    • Turkish authors must include a Turkish abstract.
    • Foreign authors are required to submit only an English abstract.

5. Headings and Subheadings

Main section headings should be structured as follows:

  • 1. Introduction
  • 2. Literature Review
  • 3. Methodology
  • 4. Findings
  • 5. Conclusion

Subheadings should be numbered (e.g., 2.1, 2.2, 3.1).

6. Tables, Figures, and Images

  • All tables, figures, and images must be numbered and titled.
  • Table titles should be placed above the table and centered.
  • Figure and image titles should be placed below the figure and centered.
  • All tables and figures must be referenced in the text.

Example:

  • Table 1. Descriptive Statistics
  • Figure 1. Research Model

7. References

All references cited in the text must be listed in the References section at the end of the paper. References must be listed alphabetically by surname.

Book:
AKDEMİR, Ali, Leadership, Istanbul: 2019.

Book with two authors:
AKDEMİR, Ali and Karabulut, Muhittin, Marketing Leadership, 2018.

Book with multiple authors:
AKDEMİR, Ali et al., Leadership in Management, 2017.

Book Chapter:
AKDEMİR, Ali, “Types of Leadership”, in Karabulut, Muhittin (Ed.), National and Global Leadership, Istanbul: 2017.

Article:
AKDEMİR, Ali, “Conflict in Leadership”, Journal of Management, Vol.1, No.1, 2018: 13–23.

Page numbers must be indicated for articles and book chapters.

8. Final Notes

  • Papers must be original and not previously published.
  • Authors are responsible for proofreading and language editing.
  • Papers that do not comply with the formatting guidelines may not be included in the proceedings book.
  • The organizing committee reserves the right to make minor formatting edits if necessary.
