Copyright and Licensing

The IV. International Congress on Organizational Management attaches importance to the publication of scientific works in a transparent, accessible and ethically responsible manner while respecting academic rights. For papers submitted to and/or accepted for publication within the scope of the congress, authors are responsible for matters related to copyright, permission for use, licensing, citation and the use of third-party materials.

This policy applies to abstracts, full papers, presentations, posters, proceedings content, tables, figures, visuals, datasets and other academic materials submitted to the congress.

Copyright Ownership

Unless otherwise explicitly stated, the copyright of works submitted to the congress belongs to the authors. Authors acknowledge and declare that their work is original, does not infringe the copyrights of third parties, and that all necessary permissions have been obtained for any sources, data, tables, figures, visuals and materials used in the study.

For multi-author works, it is assumed that all authors are aware of and have approved the submission and consideration of the paper for publication. The corresponding author is responsible for communication on behalf of all authors and for ensuring that the necessary permissions related to the publication process are obtained.

Publication Permission Granted to the Congress

By submitting their papers to the congress, authors are deemed to have granted permission for their work to be included in the congress program, published electronically, included in the congress proceedings book, announced on the congress website, archived and used for academic promotion purposes.

This permission does not prevent authors from submitting or publishing their work on other academic platforms. However, when publishing the same work elsewhere, authors are expected to properly indicate its previous presentation at the congress or publication in the proceedings.

Open Access and Terms of Use

The congress proceedings book and related academic content may be made electronically accessible if deemed appropriate by the organizing committee. The use of open-access content is subject to academic ethical principles and proper citation.

Published works may be used for non-commercial academic purposes, citation with proper attribution, education and research. Reproducing the entire work or a substantial part of it without permission, using it for commercial purposes, republishing it in modified form or sharing it without author attribution is not permitted.

Licensing Principles

The licensing model to be applied to congress publications is determined by the publication board or the congress organizing committee. Unless otherwise stated, the use of congress publications requires clear indication of bibliographic information such as author name, title of the work, congress name, year and publication link.

If deemed appropriate by the publication board, the congress proceedings book or specific publication content may be made available under open licensing principles. In such cases, the relevant license type will be stated separately on the publication page or in the proceedings book.

Use of Third-Party Materials

Authors are responsible for obtaining the necessary permissions and providing proper citations when using tables, figures, photographs, scales, surveys, graphics, maps, datasets, software outputs or similar materials belonging to third parties or institutions.

Unauthorized use of copyrighted materials, incomplete citation or misleading representation of the source of a material may result in academic and legal responsibility. In such cases, responsibility rests with the authors.

Visuals, Tables and Figures

Tables, figures, graphics, photographs and other visual materials included in papers must either be original or used with proper permission. Even for visuals obtained from publicly available sources, the terms of use must be checked and the source must be clearly indicated.

If authors use visuals, tables or figures generated by artificial intelligence tools, this must be appropriately disclosed in the study. The copyright, accuracy and ethical responsibility of AI-assisted content belong to the authors.

Republication and Extended Works

Papers presented at the congress may later be developed by the authors into articles, book chapters or other academic publication formats. In such cases, the previous presentation at the congress or publication in the proceedings must be clearly indicated.

If a work published in the proceedings is later submitted as an expanded article, the new work is expected to be meaningfully developed, extended and prepared with an original contribution beyond the previous version.

Author Declarations and Responsibilities

Authors declare that the works they submit to the congress do not violate the copyrights, personal rights, privacy rights, data protection principles or institutional rights of third parties. Authors are responsible for all content, permissions, citations and copyright-related obligations included in their work.

In the event of any copyright infringement, unauthorized use, incomplete citation or violation of licensing terms, the congress organizing committee and publication board reserve the right to exclude the paper from evaluation, cancel the acceptance decision, withdraw the published work or request necessary corrections.

Use of Congress Content

Texts, logos, posters, visuals, program information and other institutional content published on the congress website, in the congress program, proceedings book, social media accounts or promotional materials may not be used for commercial purposes without the permission of the congress organizing committee.

When congress-related content is shared for academic, news, announcement or promotional purposes, the name of the congress, date and website information must be clearly indicated.

Final Provision

All authors who submit papers, make presentations or take part in the publication process of the IV. International Congress on Organizational Management are deemed to have accepted this Copyright and Licensing Policy. The organizing committee and publication board reserve the right to make necessary decisions in order to protect copyrights, academic ethical principles and author rights throughout the scientific publication process.
